The OSIM iSqueez Foot and Calf Massager is one of the first foot
calf massagers to be released. It is made by OSIM which is a multi national company that specializes in healthy
living appliances such as foot calf massagers. Brookstone market many of the OSIM products including this one and a
few other OSIM massage appliances. This machine is a popular product based on feedback but it is fairly expensive
by comparison to other similar items. With this said, it does a good job at massaging your lower legs and feet and
has a good variety of functionality to allow you to massage both legs and feet simultaneously or separately.

The iSqueez has a boot style design, meaning that it looks like you have placed your feet in to ski boots that
have been joined together somehow. Unlike some other models, it does not completely cover the feet so the toes can
breath a little when you are receiving a vigorous massage. It is quite a large unit as the picture shows. It can be
adjusts to suit the angle of your feet based on the type of chair you are sat in.
It gives you a shiatsu massage of both the calves and the feet. The shiatsu massage is basically a squeezing and
kneading sensation on the skin. It can reduce the tension in tight muscles. It can reinvigorate tired lower legs
and feet, especially if you have been on your feet all day as part of your job (or even if you have a busy day on
your feet once in a while).
The massager has 3 kneading modes setting that basically knead the skin but in different intensity and
variation. There is a continuous kneading setting which can be quite intense. The other settings knead in a more
haphazard way to differing intensities.
The other aspect of the massage is performed by actuators under the skin of the machine that vibrate. Again you
can set the level and intensity of the vibration. There is low, high and auto (which is a combination of the
previous two).
The control panel for the machine is located in between the footrests on top so it is easy to get to. For safety
purposes, the appliance will shut off after 15 minutes. Some people have fallen asleep whilst having a massage so
this is the thinking behind the shut off function. Having said this, some of these machines can be quite loud and
even shake a bit when at a high vibration frequency.
