The Prosepra Phs Calf and Foot Massager is an appliance in the style of many others. It
has the place your feet into the unit style design. This ensures that the calves and feet are massaged
together at the same time. It is reasonably priced, I would say low to medium by comparison to other models. It has
had some good feedback but not much at time of writing.
This unit looks like most other foot calf massagers but it is on wheel which means it
is easier to move around. Some of these products are quite heavy so moving them around, especially when your dog
tired and your feet need some tender loving care might be an issue. The wheels on this product make this job a bit
easier.
In keeping with ease of use, this product has a remote control. Well, it's not completely remote, more like
wired control. There is an operating control pad that is connected to the machine with a wire. This means you can
operate the various settings or pre-programmed routines without having to double over , bend down or take your feet
out of the machine. You can set the machine as you sit in a comfortable chair which is another nice touch.
The massager is on a metal stand that can be inclined at an angle that is most comfortable for how you are
sitting.
Other than that, it does the usual massage on your legs and feet. The Prosepra Phs Calf and Foot Massager is an
imitation or reproduction of the shiatsu style of massaging that originated in Japan. Shiatsu is usually performed
by a person who uses their thumbs and fingers to simultaneously rub and knead the body. Apart from relieve tense
muscles in the body, it is thought to get the blood circulating better (which can have obvious health benefits) and
apply reflexology principles to the feet. Reflexology is thought to heal all parts of the body by applying pressure
to specific parts of the body. It is not recognized as a scientifically valid form of therapy but many people
believe in it, especially the traditional and alternative medicine fraternities.
The Prosepra foot calf massager uses rollers and discs to do the work of human fingers and thumbs and from the
feedback on this product it does a good job.
What's more, you can adapt the machine to your personal preferences or use a set program to relieve all the
stress and tension on your lower legs and feet. The machine has 5 preset programs. Put your feet in the footrests
and push start and enjoy the massage.
If you prefer more control, there are 4 manual programs and you can adjust the speed and intensity of the
massage with 3 settings. Again, this can be done view the control panel as you sit on your favorite chair with your
feet in the machine.
This is an ideal item for people that spend all day on their feet or even people that have been using their feet
and lower legs in exercise or activity for a long period (running, skiing, swimming). From the video, it appears
that the massage is quite noisy but this has been mentioned on some of the other products too. I guess you could
always turn on some music when the device is operating or better still get some headphones to listen to the music
or your favorite TV program. Problem solved !
From all accounts, this product is a good foot calf massager and the remote control panel makes it easier to
operate whilst in use.
